Research and Teaching Interests
Hometown: Fuzhou, China; MSc (University of Manitoba)
Research project: My research project is in the field of Theoretical Actinide Molecular Science. Quantum chemistry calculations give us a better understanding of the unique chemistry of these elements. Knowledge from this study may have potential applications for solving problems such as long-term storage/isolation of nuclear waste.
Reason for coming to U. Manitoba: I came to U of M to pursue my graduate studies because the exciting research program here. I also wanted to experience different cultures, weather etc.
Other interests: Scale Miniatures and Gardening
