Terms of Reference

1. To provide, from September to April, advice to students about mathematics courses and programs.
2. To organize and supervise a roster of faculty members to provide advice to students about mathematics courses and programs during registration time and summertime (May to August).
3. To update the Department’s Student Advisory Handbook each spring.
4. To publicize the Putnam competition each year, and to arrange for the training of interested students who plan to write the Putnam examination.

Remarks

Student Advisors in the Dean’s Office should know the identity of the committee.
