WISE Kid-Netic Energy inspires and fosters love of STEM for kids in Manitoba

Each year, WISE Kid-Netic Energy hosts hundreds of educational workshops in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) reaching over 30,000 Manitoba youth. Since 1990, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Kid-Netic Energy has traveled across the Province engaging with youth and leading workshops in a wide variety of STEM applications for all youth ages 4-18.

Emily Prenovault, a science undergraduate student focusing on micro/biology has been a WISE Kid-Netic instructor since Spring 2018 and has led over 330 workshops in 97 different schools. She has visited Thompson, Dauphin, The Pas, Steinbach, as well as many First Nations communities during her time as an instructor.
