Anima Sharma wins 1st prize for the best student presentation at the annual Winter Nuclear and Particle Physics Conference

PhD student Anima Sharma, working with Gerald Gwinner in Physics & Astronomy, has won first prize for best student presentation at the annual Canadian Winter Nuclear and Particle Physics Conference for her talk “Towards Atomic Parity Violation in Francium”. It was her first conference presentation as a graduate student.
