Welcome to the home page of the Faculty of Science Maker Space. The Maker Space is a student driven fabrication shop with capabilities ranging from 3D printing up to CNC machining. The Maker Space is open to all Faculty of Science undergraduate and graduate students who wish to learn the design and fabrication skills necessary to make scientific equipment.
Student training is offered at no charge. Any student or faculty member who is interested in training may request an initial training appointment using the Request Training form linked below.
The Maker Space also serves the fabrication needs of researchers. We have a large range of graduate and undergraduate students printing items for their research groups. Students who operate the Maker Space will also print items for research groupsĀ on a case-by-case basis as time permits. If you want to submit a fabrication request you may use the Fabrication Consultation form linked below.
