Award Opportunities

Strong graduate students can apply for a number of scholarship/awards opportunities. The main sources of awards are listed below, followed by links to departmental award pages. The Faculty of Graduate studies also has an awards page, which includes a searchable database of awards.

Graduate students in the Faculty of Science most commonly apply for funding from one of these main sources:

1. Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Graduate Scholarship programs (PGS and CGS)
2. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) program
