In addition to the skills you will develop through your graduate courses and/or research, we also encourage you to take part in professional development opportunities to round out your education.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies provides a variety of workshops that are presented in six different ‘steps’ that are based on stage of program. If a given number of workshops are attended in an academic year they can be claimed on your co-curricular record. To find the current list of workshops and more information on claiming these on your co-curricular record please visit the GradSteps website.
Another great way to build your professional skills is through Mitacs Training workshops. The upcoming workshops that are available to University of Manitoba graduate students can be found here, or you can visit the Mitacs Training website directly to find a full listing.
