Jim Peebles Science and Technology Library

The second largest of the libraries at the University of Manitoba. The Sciences and Technology Library serves the research, study, and teaching requirements of the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, and the Faculty of Engineering.

As a unit within the University of Manitoba Libraries, it provides a vast range of print and electronic resources to students, faculty and staff of the University as well as Alumni and members of the public.

Besides the stunning views on the upper floors, the Sciences and Technology Library boasts approximately 300 study spots throughout the library. Amenities include wired & unwired carrels, tables for working in groups, mobile tablet-arm chairs, modular lounge seating, and mobile whiteboards that double as room dividers.

Some students prefer to study in groups while others require silence. In order to accommodate all preferences, the library has designated areas for group, quiet and silent study.
