Abstract Submission

Abstract submission deadline for an oral presentation is April 17, 2023. After that date and until June 19, 2023, all abstracts will only be considered for a poster. The accepted abstracts for oral presentations will be announced on May 23, 2023.

We invite graduate and undergraduate students to share their research results. Students are welcome to submit abstracts in either of two topics:

  1. Physics/Astronomy research 
  2. Research related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Physics/STEM

Information about oral presentation:

  • There is a limited number of spots, the selection will be primarily based on the quality of the submitted abstract. We will also ensure representation from a diverse group of students from various disciplines and across the country.
  • The submitted abstract should be 250 words or less. 
  • Details about the presentations format will be communicated later.

Information about poster presentation:

  • The selection will be primarily based on the quality of the submitted abstract. We will also ensure representation from a diverse group of students from various disciplines and across the country.
  • The submitted abstract should be 250 words or less.
  • Although English is likely to be the first language of most attendees, posters in French are also welcome.
