Dame Jocelyn Burnell

Astrophysicist Keynote Speaker

Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell is an astrophysicist, best known for her discovery of pulsars. Her observation made together with her supervisor, Antony Hewish, is considered to be one of the greatest astronomical discoveries of the twentieth century.
